Summary

Following on from our successful climate change adaptation workshop at last year’s Network Harvest, we will be running a site visit to Tredegar House. This will be an opportunity to think about how to assess buildings and land for potential climate impacts, using Tredegar House as a tool to carry out your own assessment. Find out what to look for and discuss potential actions that could be taken.

This event is ideal for anyone who wants to understand more about how climate impacts could affect future business operations, and what key questions we need to be asking.

Our aims for the day:

1. You will have greater awareness of climate impacts and the need for adaptation

2. You will have a better understanding of the difference between adaptation and mitigation

3. You will be starting to think about the process: what you are adapting to and then how do you do it

4. You will input ideas on some of the practical and strategic measures Tredegar House could take to become a resilient estate

5. You will know what questions to ask of your own organisations
