Join us for a day of all things hydro power at the National Trust’s Stickle Barn Tavern – one of the country’s most sustainable pubs. Take a tour of their 100kW hydroelectric project and hear from practitioners Garry and John about the process, challenges and successes of installing the system.
Enjoy lunch in the sustainable Stickle Barn Tavern, managed by the National Trust, before an afternoon focusing on innovation and the potential for hydro in different contexts. There will be sessions on:
• Small scale and build your own
• New models for buying and selling renewable energy
• Private wire self-supply
Fit for the Future Network membership organisations will give overviews of their own hydro projects, both planned and completed, with the opportunity for peer advice. Contact Chloe if you would like one of your projects to be included in this session.
